Job Description

Job Title: Accountant

Nationalities: Asians Only

Salary Range: 2500 AED – 3500 AED

Overview: An accountant plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of an organization. They are responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support decision-making processes. Additionally, accountants often liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll records.
2.Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly, annually) in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
3.Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of concern or improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
4.Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts by providing financial data and analysis. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide explanations for variances.
5.Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws. Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time. Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary doentation and explanations.
6.Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial transactions. Identify weaknesses in internal controls and recommend improvements.
7.Financial Systems and Software: Utilize accounting software and other financial systems effectively to record transactions, generate reports, and streamline processes. Stay updated on advancements in accounting technology.
8.Financial Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies and plans aligned with organizational goals. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
9.Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial information effectively to internal stakeholders, such as management and department heads, as well as external stakeholders, including investors, creditors, and regulatory agencies.
