In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects related to gold bullion transactions and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. As an Accountant for Gold Bullion, you will work closely with the Finance Manager to maintain and analyse financial records pertaining to gold bullion transactions. Your responsibilities will include conducting audits, preparing financial statements, developing financial models, and monitoring financial performance.
Responsibilities
•Manage and reconcile financial transactions related to gold bullion transactions
•Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
•Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry regulations
•Monitor financial performance and propose strategies for improvement
•Provide guidance and support to other team members regarding financial matters
•Candidate can be any Nationality
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
•CPA or other relevant certification is preferred
•Proven experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably in the gold bullion industry or experience in any
other banking and financial institution
•Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
•Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
•Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
•Knowledge of gold bullion market trends and trading practices is a plus
