We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, analyzing budgets, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records including ledgers, journals, and invoices.
Prepare financial statements and reports according to established procedures and deadlines.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Assist in budget preparation and monitor budget performance regularly.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
Assist in audits and provide necessary doentation and support to auditors.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA is preferred.
Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of UAE accounting standards and regulations is a plus.
Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
