Job Description

We are looking for an Experienced Accountant to spearhead the
Accounting Department of a Jewellery Company in Ajman Free Zone.

Accountant Responsibilities:

1. Analyze financial information and prepare balance sheets.
2. Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets.
3. Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures.
4. Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries.
5. Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, check and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices.
6. Assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation.
7. Assist in Filing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.
8. Develop monthly financial statements that include cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
9. Complete end of month close procedures.


Candidate Requirements

Accountant Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Accounting or related (essential).
2. 3 years of Accounting work experience (essential).
3. Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
4. Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
5. Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
7. Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and Accounting software packages.
