Role Description
This is a full-time remote Junior Accountant role at Interior Decor. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including but not limited to, manaing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and assisting with tax preparation. The Junior Accountant will report to the Senior Accountant and work closely with other departments to ensure the financial health of the company.
Qualifications
Previous experience in construction /.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
Proficient in Zoho books or other accounting software
Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable
Experience reconciling bank statements
Familiarity with financial reporting and tax preparation
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in the construction or interior projects
Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
Managing income and expenditure accounts
Participate to the invoicing process
Support Accounts Payable team
Support Accounts Receivable team
Interact with clients to update them on the status of their funds transfer
Assist senior manager with the monthly closing process
