The OPD Assistant Nurse is responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to the Outpatient Department. This includes greeting and registering patients, collecting specimens, preparing patients for examination, and assisting with procedures. The OPD Assistant Nurse also plays a role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and register patients
Collect specimens
Prepare patients for examination
Assist with procedures
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the department
Answer telephones and respond to patient inquiries
File and maintain patient records
Follow all policies and procedures
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to AED6,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical terminology course
1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
Excellent customer service skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality
