Biomedical Engineer
1- provides preventive maintenance to all medical equipment in a safe, self-directed and timely manner.
2- prepares documentation and maintain records pertaining to all repairs, replacement parts, calibrations and modifications of medical equipment
3- uses computer software and mathematical models to design, develops and test new materials, devices and equipment
4- building and evaluating prototypes, troubleshooting problems, and rethinking the design until it works correctly
5- liaising with companies, technicians and manufacturers to ensure the feasibility of a product.
6- Evaluates and approves new biomedical equipment by conducting tests.
7- Installation of equipment which includes establishing, adjusting, calibrating, and testing performance.
8- Knowledge of IT integration with hospital systems for various medical devices.
9- Maintains biomedical equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules, conducting tests, troubleshoot and repair malfunctions, maintain equipment inventories.
10- Directs biomedical equipment operation by providing equipment operation demonstrations.
11- Maintains biomedical equipment supplies inventory by checking stock.
12- Prepares biomedical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
13- Maintains safe and healthy working environment by conducting safety tests; recommending and complying with procedures; training and guiding medical and healthcare personnel
14- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

Requirements: • Currently working in Qatar with availability of NOC. • Valid local driver’s license. • A minimum of 2-3 years relevant work experience in similar role. • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications • Presentation skills • Time management • Working under pressure • Problem solving
