Car Rental Operations Officer About the Role:
Revv Car Rentals is looking to hire its first employee to support our Founder with the operations, running, and scaling of the Company.
We are looking for this person to start part-time with the goal of moving to full-time once the business has picked up. Currently, there isn’t enough work for a full-time role.
The hours are very flexible and dependent on demand with project wo involved. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a freelancer, looking for part-time work, or wants more flexibility.
Pay: £4k-6k per month for PT work depending on experience. Must be able to drive and have driving experience in the UAE. Fluent English is a must.
Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who has worked already in the car rental space in Dubai or someone who is looking for part-time work alongside something they already do!
About Revv Car Rental:
Revv car rental is the first female and British-founded car rental company in Dubai. We are looking to change the car rental space in the UAE by focusing on prioritising customers, being transparent, and creating a great experience. The UAE is growing rapidly and 1000s of people are moving here. The Car Rental market has a large opportunity for growth. Our team's goal is to use technology and customer service to change this space and make the experience seamless. We currently have nearly 10 cars in our fleet, all long-term customers, and are looking to grow but keeping our customers in mind.
What you'll be doing:
Handling Rental Agents:
- Oversee rental agents' activities, including customer interactions, vehicle reservations, and rental agreements.
- Ensure Revv is providing excellent customer service and adhering to company policies and RTA regulations.
Fleet Management:
- Manage the rental fleet, including vehicle maintenance, inspections, and scheduling.
- Optimize fleet utilization to maximize revenue and minimize downtime.
Non-Rental Operations:
- Supervise non-rental aspects, such as vehicle cleaning, maintenance facilities, and logistics.
- Ensure all vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and ready for rental at all times.
Dispatch Management:
- Oversee dispatch operations to ensure timely vehicle delivery and pickup.
- Coordinate with customers for efficient dispatch processes.
Compliance with RTA Rules:
- Stay updated on UAE RTA regulations and ensure full compliance in all operational aspects.
- Implement RTA requirements related to vehicle inspections, permits, and doentation
Customer Relations:
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Customer-first approach with everything
Safety and Security:
- Ensure the safety and security of vehicles, employees, and customers.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Care maintenance & first point of call for accidents
- Carrying out servicing of vehicles and keeping on top of this
- Handling all insurance and accident claims including police reporting
- Handling renewal, registration, and all things related to vehicle maintenance
- Systems & Fleet Management
- Uploading core doents on TSARs when required
- Management of fees & fines
- Management of fleet and keeping records up to date
Sales
- Looking for ways to increase sales and gain better customers (commission paid for every new customer you bring)
- Using your network to build good relationships for the business
Operations
- Suggesting new ways for the company to be better
- Looking for competitive vehicles to add to the fleet
Supporting with goals
- Being the first point of conta person when the Founder is away from Dubai
- You’ll be expected to work closely with the Founder and meet once a week for 2 hours to go over the plan for the week and tasks that need to be carried out. You’ll be given training on all the technology and systems the company uses and be coached by a leading founder from the UK who can support you in your career and goals.
