- Monitor inventory and order supplies to ensure the availability of ingredients at all times.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards in the preparation and handling of all desserts.
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in the chocolate and pastry industry.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a chocolate and pastry chef in kitchen.
- In-depth knowledge of chocolate and pastry techniques, including tempering, molding, and decorating.
- Strong creativity and passion for creating visually stunning and delicious desserts.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
