Objective of Job
The Civil Engineer is responsible for analyzing long-range plans, survey reports, maps, and other data for planning projects. To prepare cost estimates for materials, labor and equipment, ensure building materials are tested for stability and safety, as well as manage the repair, maintenance, and replacement of infrastruc-ture. Contributing technical expertise to project drawings and designs and preparing work schedules in col-laboration with the project manager.Accountability
•Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
•Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and others)
•Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
•Assess potential risks, materials and costs
•Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging proble
•Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors
•Handle over the resulting structures and services for use
•Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
•Manage budget and purchase equipme
•Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical doentation as required
Minimum Knowledge, Skill and Experience Requirements
•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
•Minimum 5 years’ working experience in Engineering Consultancies and Supervision in UAE.
•Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar
•Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc
•Must be proactive, strong team player and self-motivated.
•Ability to work in a collaborative and diverse team environment.
•Project management and supervision skills
•Highly developed time management ability and able to prioritize effectively.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Holding UAE driving license
•Knowledge in speaking Arabic is a plus
