Estimation Engineer
Estimation Engineers estimate the costs associated with upcoming projects and the impact a project will have on the organization to determine if the project will be financially successful. This is a skilled position requiring full-time hours in a combination of office and project site environments. Analytical and extremely detail-oriented people make good estimation engineers. Estimation engineers report primarily to executive-level management and other stakeholders involved in the project.
Duties and Responsibility but not limited to:
a)Prepare detailed estimates for different projects including but not limited to multi-billion dollar oil and gas projects.
b)Develop and verify MTOs, equipment and bulk quantities against P&IDs and drawings.
c)Develop multi-discipline concepts, detailed and definitive cost estimates for Company Capital Projects.
d)Review estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with defined scope of work.
e)Interact with multiple organizations to review, discuss project scope and estimate basis and consult on company estimating metho.
f)Support technically in review of design packages and drawings.
g)Assist project management and contracting personnel with bid analysis and contract negotiations.
h)Engineer and coordinate with teammates on company estimating methods and preparation directions.
i)Upgrade on changing developments in estimating advances by reviewing technical literature, contact with contractors, visits to construction locations and attending professional and technical meetings.
j)Revise and conclude incoming Requests for Proposals (RFP’s).
k)Study and interpret engineering drawing and technical specifications to develop manufacturing process flows.
l)Utilize inputs from Manufacturing Engineering, Tool Design and Manufacturing personnel to develop technical proposals.
m)Assist in make and buy estimate decision process.
Qualification but not limited too:
1. Not morethan 45 yrs old
2. Flexible to new working enviroment.
3. With experience in Civil Constructions (with advantage)
4. Within KSA (Do not apply if you are not within KSA)
5. Transferable Iqama.
6. With working experience with Aramco, Sabic.Royal Commision is a advantage
7. Well updated on market prices
8. Well aware on Tendering works
9. infrastructure Works
