Civil Site Engineer
Working knowledge of land development permitting and approval processes
Works in a timely fashion to meet project budgets
Supports Practice Leads and Management
Communicates effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and coun review staff
Reviews design work and site construction plans
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D
Supporting land development and improvement projects with services including site feasibility analysis, grading, drainage, utility and site layout.
With supervision and guidance, plans and conducts work requiring independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptati of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
Works within a team to develop Project plans and prepares or reviews technical specifications, and estimates
Performs other duties assigned by a Senior Engineer or Project Manager
Works within a team to develop Project initiation documents, and Project approval documents
Perform site layout, grading, drainage infrastructure and roadway design
Support the site Construction Manager in the management of the civil and earthworks packages for the site
Participate in project marketing, work planning, scope development and fee estimating
Assist the Project Manager with all procurement and purchases of goods and services including the preparation of subcontracts
Verification of all Subcontractor earth works and civil works quantities for progress claims
Attend meetings with client taking a lead role on items like bulk earth works and civil works
Desired Skills & Experience
With 3-5 years Road and Infrastructure Experience. Works within a team to develop Project initiation documents, and Project approval documents. Independently resolves complex engineering problems Conceptualizes the initial civil design approach for major phases of large Road and Infrasturctue site civil development related projects With supervision and guidance, plans and conducts work requiring independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptati of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria Works within a team to develop Project plans and prepares or reviews technical specifications, and estimates Coordinates and reviews the work of peers, a technical support personnel assigned to the project Performs other duties assigned by a Senior Engineer or Project Manager
