Roles and Responsibilities.
1. Project Planning and Design
• Collaborate with project managers and civil & architects to develop detailed
project plans and designs & monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Utilize engineering software and tools for the creation of structural designs.
2. Structural Analysis:
• Conduct structural analysis and assessments to ensure the integrity and safety
of designs. AutoCAD experience must require.
• Perform calculations for load-bearing structures and foundations.
3. Site Inspection and Supervision:
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure
adherence to design specifications.
• Provide on-site technical support and guidance to construction teams.
4. Material Selection and Specification:
• Specify appropriate construction materials based on project requirements and
environmental conditions.
• Evaluate and recommend innovative materials and construction methods.
5. Quality Control:
• Implement quality control procedures to verify the compliance of construction
activities with design standards.
• Conduct inspections to identify and address any construction defects or
deviations.
6. Doentation and Reporting:
• Prepare detailed engineering doentation, including drawings,
specifications, and reports.
• Keep accurate records of project milestones, changes, and approvals.
7. Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical and
electrical engineers, and project managers.
• Collaborate with external consultants and contractors to ensure smooth
project execution.
8. Cost Estimation:
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
9. Problem Resolution:
• Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that may arise during
the construction phase.
• Provide timely solutions to ensure project continuity.
10. Safety Compliance:
• Implement and enforce safety protocols on construction sites to ensure the
well-being of personnel.
• Stay updated on industry safety standards and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 3-4 years of experience in civil and structural engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
• Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools like Primavera & Ms project
experience must require .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
