Operate the press brake machine and support the production team by assembling, operating machinery, shearing and bending of metal products as instructed by supervisors.
- Produce a variety of parts, all of which must meet the dimensional specifications of the fabrication engineered drawings
- Select proper bending based on material thickness and type
- Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment
- Determine if tools are undamaged and in safe condition for use
High School Diploma
- 4 years minimum experience
- Solid background experience
- Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance
- Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel, etc.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in an effective way
