Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner as they enter the restaurant or call in for orders.
Assist customers in selecting menu items, providing recommendations, and answering any questions they may have regarding our dishes, ingredients, or special dietary requirements.
Take orders accurately over the phone or in person, ensuring that all specifications and modifications are noted correctly.
Process orders promptly and efficiently using the restaurant's POS (Point of Sale) system.
Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Handle billing transactions accurately, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and managing cash transactions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the counter area, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance at all times.
Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
Assist with packaging and bagging of takeout orders, ensuring that all items are presented neatly and securely.
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, following proper procedures for handling food and maintaining sanitation standards.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and busy periods.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management to support the overall functioning of the restaurant.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for processing orders and handling transactions.
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is desirable.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
