Position Description:
Candidates should demonstrate excellent CrossFit coaching, leadership and managerial skills to effectively lead all CrossFit classes with the support and guidance of the head coach, lead coach and owners. All trainers should be able to coach any level of clients, from beginner to advanced athletes a competitor. Trainers should be self-motivated and a team player with the ability to get along with all type of personalities in order to help clients reach their goals
Responsibilities:
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor all at times
• Run CrossFit specialty classes for the clients
• Willing to coach and have classes every week
• Demonstrate proper form and techniques
• Ensure classes are effective, safe and fun to attend
• Offer additional support to help clients achieve their fitness goals
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with current clients and convert potential clients
• Promote all internal programs and events
• Promote all internal special offers
• Always promote the health club community and family atmosphere
• Adhere to all health club policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of CrossFit or functional fitness training as a trainer or athlete
• CrossFit Level 1, Level 2 certification. Additional qualifications such as USAW Certification, other CrossFit course certifications and CPR Certification will be an added advantage
• Ability to connect with clients and build community
• Ability to motivate clients and implement new ideas
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to be on time for all meetings and to all classes coaching
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
