We are looking for a Data Engineer with practical experience in developing data systems and pipelines.
PanData can be defined as a tech company focused on applying scientific knowledge to solve concrete problems. In other words, its mission is to enhance the business operation of the clients by developing and implementing premium IT products and services.
You will be working remotely from our office in Dubai as our core technical team is in Doha, Qatar. You may be asked to travel when required to Doha or there is also the possibility of fully relocating to Doha.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
Strong English-language communication skills.
Professional experience with Python.
Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data
systems as well as services.
Familiarity with containerized platforms like Docker or Podman or
Kubernetes.
Well-versed in source control with Git.
Understanding of fundamental database concepts - relational (SQL)
database, non-relational (NoSQL) database and OR.
Experience with common data science libraries, such as Pandas,
NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, BeautifulSoup and Selenium.
Ability to scrape web applications, both static and dynamic, with proven
experience.
Comfortable parsing all types of data formats (JSON, XML etc.)
whether it is structured or unstructured.
Basic understanding of image processing.
Duties:
Gather and address technical and design requirements.
Develop high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code.
Responsible for gathering, organizing, and transforming data.
Design, develop and optimize databases.
Develop efficient data pipelines to process large amounts of data.
Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
