• Inspecting the new die and preparing Die Inspection report (Compare die opening and port sizes with die design)
• Attending die trials at the press, Collect nose piece and samples for the dies required correction.
• Check all dimensions after trials and record it on the drawing for comparison and correction.
• If any problem, encountered during the trial stage analysis the issue and apply the correction.
• Cross checking of inserts or bolster clearance during tri.
• Productions:-Ensure proper correction is applied on unloaded dies (Valid reasons like Shape, Dimension out or any surface defects etc.) on time.
• Corrections carried out in the die are to be updated in die design drawing (soft copy) so that the backup die could be manufacture correctly.
