Division Manager Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated individual to join our company as a Division Manager. As part of our team, you oversee multiple departments and ensure efficient operations, administration, client and vendor relations, and logistics. We require qualified manager with administrative experience and expertise to ensure we are constantly improving our processes, recognizing and promoting talent, and developing new relationships with clients and industry leaders. This is a senior-level position, and our ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in a leadership role & administrative role directly relevant to our industry.
Division Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Foster and develop relationships with clients, vendors, and industry professionals to create new business opportunities
Implement new processes to eliminate inefficiency and create more agile working systems
Train and hire new staff, review employee performances, and promote talented employees to levels of greater responsibility
Oversee logistics professionals and ensure our operations are fully supplied and equipped to fulfill existing obligations and seize upon emerging opportunities
Division Manager’s Job Description
1.Understanding the contract requirements, planning and effective overall management of important project orders.
2.Manage change requests to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques and ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
3.Identify & perform risk management to minimize potential risks in the project.
4.Responsible for the doentation of important milestones and take full responsibility for costs, deadlines, deliverables, quality and customer satisfaction.
5.Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
6.Arrange meeting with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
7.Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information and report the progress of the project to the division and executive management.
8.Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
9.Use and continually develop thoughtful leadership skills for effective project management
10.Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
11.Lead an experienced project team, identify and resolve issues with overall responsibility
12.Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients by strong interpersonal skills.
13.Submitting project deliverables by ensuring that they adhere to quality standards and obtain customer acceptance.
14.Perform other related duties as assigned by superiors.
Division Manager Requirements and Qualifications:
a)A bachelor’s degree majored in a mechanical engineering or related field.
b)Min. 8 to 10 years proven project management experience in large scale offshore, oil & gas, petrochemical, EPC projects.
c)10 years of experience in an administrative or leadership role directly relevant to our industry and with proven history of fostering teamwork and success in a complex organizational environment
d)Ability to lead project teams of various sizes, sub-vendors and see them through to completion.
e)Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
f)Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
g)Good knowledge of valves, able to read drawings, understands production techniques and process.
h)Able to adapt within the team and complete projects in a timely manner.
i)Understanding of ERP implementation.
j)Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
