Job Description:
Designsmith (Civil, Fit-out, and Construction Company) is actively seeking competent and responsible drivers to be a part of our construction and transportation team. The ideal candidate must possess a valid UAE 3 or 5-category (Number) driver's license and have a proven record of safe and efficient driving. Candidates who possess 2 to 3 years of driving experience in the UAE. Looking for Indian candidates only
Responsibilities:
Safe Transportation: Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that company vehicles are well-maintained, undergo regular servicing, and remain in optimal working condition.
Route Planning: Strategically plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery of construction materials and equipment, taking into account traffic and weather conditions.
Assist in Loading and Unloading: Collaborate with the team to assist in the loading and unloading of construction materials and equipment when required.
Customer Interaction: Provide courteous and professional customer service when interacting with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Doentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transportation.
Safety First: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures to minimize accidents and prioritize the safety of passengers and cargo.
Qualifications:
Valid UAE 3 or 5-category driver's license.
2-3 years of driving experience in the UAE.
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
Exceptional knowledge of UAE roads and routes.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
