Electrical Technician
Location: Abu Dhabi
Responsibilities
Capable to install different types and sizes of cable trays
Experienced to fabricate and modify cable trays, Cable tray supports as per drawings.
Experience in armoured power cable laying, glanding, terminations.
Experienced in conduit installation, wring, and electrical panel board termination
Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring,
Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
Familiar with earthing works
Perform maintenance of electrical panels
Experienced in replacement or repair of the Circuit breake
Experienced replacing / updating the Bus bar and installing the Circuit breakers inside SMDB
Inspecting transformers and circuit breakers to ensure they are up to code
Identifying electrical problems using specialized tools like voltmeters, cable testers, thermal scanners, and ammeters
Repairing and replacing wiring and equipment using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, saws, drills, wire strippers, and conduit breakers
Directing and training fellow workers to install, maintain, and repair wiring and systems
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as an electrician
Experience in industrial a commercial electrical systems
Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight
Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician

Experience:
Electrical Technician: 3 years minimum experience
industrial a commercial electrical systems: 3 years (Preferred)
