Lead and direct the development of enterprise wide architecture and processes to ensure that the strategic application of change is embedded in the management of the organization.
Provide a holistic view of the organization's strategy, processes, and information technology assets, ensuring that the business and IT are in alignment.
Work with IT and non-IT stakeholders, capture, analyze and convert business strategies into specific IT functional capabilities that would be implemented through multiple projects and with multiple implementation partners.
Develop and present business cases for high-level initiatives and ensure compliance between business strategies, practices, and enterprise transformation activities and technology directions.
Provide high level strategic advice for future investment in IT systems and develop information and communication technology architectures and standards that support the implementation of the IT and business strategy.
Undertake high level research, horizon scanning and analysis to identify future trends, and translate business practices and processes into architectures to enable delivery of appropriate solutions.
Provide expert strategic and technical advice to the Head of Division to influence decisions regarding Information Technology initiatives and innovation.
Participate in meetings, discussions and decisions regarding implementation of innovation and digital transformation and best practice to represent IT Division perspective and share information.
Coordinate the promotion, development, acquisition and implementation of information systems and services in close liaison with management and key stakeholders.
Support Key Leadership team in planning, executing and governing the IT Infrastructure through structured policies, guidelines and procedures
Consult with other departments’ heads, management, vendors, and other IT functions and collaborate with IT operations, applications, security and project management functions and participate in determining entire need of technology to serve business needs.
Coordinate the identification and assessment of new and emerging hardware, software and communication technologies, products, methods and techniques and evaluate their relevance to the organization.
Research and recommend changes to the IT infrastructure architecture, ensuring that all new and enhanced facilities are effectively project managed and thoroughly tested, before being implemented in the production environment.
Establish strong relationships with service providers, negotiate and contract with consultants, technical personnel and vendors for services and products.
Maintain an awareness of the various business needs of the organization and promote the benefits that a common approach to IT deployment will bring to the business, among information systems and business management.
