We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Expo Doentation Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of international trade by managing all aspects of export and import doentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Doentation Management:
Prepare and review shipping doents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information for accurate doentation.
2. Customs Compliance:
Stay updated on changes in impo regulations and customs procedures.
Collaborate with customs brokers to facilitate clearance processes.
Address any discrepancies or issues related to customs doentation.
3. Communication and Coordination:
Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and freight forwarders to obtain required doentation.
Coordinate with external agencies and government authorities to ensure timely approvals and permits.
4. Record Keeping:
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all export and import doentation.
Generate reports and summaries as needed for management and regulatory purposes.
5. Problem Resolution:
Proactively identify and resolve doentation discrepancies or issues to prevent delays in shipments.
6.Banking and Finance:
Utilize your knowledge of banking, finance, and accounts to manage letters of credit, doent collections, and other financial transactions related to international trade.
1.Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
2.Proven experience in expo doentation, customs compliance, and international trade.
3.Strong understanding of global trade regulations and customs procedures.
4.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
5.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
6.Proficient in using relevant software like Microsoft Suite, Canva and other relevant systems for doentation purposes.
7.Problem-solving skills to address any issues related to doentation or customs clearance.
8.Proficiency in banking, finance, and accounts related to international trade transactions.
