Diagnose and treat a variety of health diseases & injuries and perform a variety of procedures within the scope of privileges and Department capacity and explain them to the patient to determine which is best for them based on their situation.
Handle basic medical treatments appropriately, such as injections, minor operations, immunizations, wound dressing and stitches etc., oversee the post treatment care provided by nursing services team, and run clinical consultation to ideally fulfil all the tasks of the consultation, as appropriate.
Order various laboratory tests and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition, interpret historical records, reports, test results, or examination findings to correctly diagnose the problem(s) of patients, and consequently administer, prescribe and dispense treatments and medications with correct dosage.
Provide explanation to patients following their medical examination, addressing specific questions and concerns expressed by them during the course of the examination.
Recognize own limitation and handle difficult cases, ensure proper treatment is provided according to each case, and report difficult cases to relevant stakeholders as required without jeopardizing the safety of patients.
Monitor patient conditions, progress, and re-evaluate treatments as necessary according to the most recent evidence-based recommendations and in a cost-effective manner without jeopardizing the safety of patients.
Adhere to Ministry of Health regulations, Company policies and procedures, and local & international medical guidelines and recommendations aiming for the patients' best interest and safety.
Keep patients’ records organized and up to date and document all patient encounters, patient visits and maintain patient information and examination results in patient’s electronic record in accordance with the policy.
Prepare reports on patient examination results and medical treatment provided in accordance with the Ministry of Health regulations and Company policies and procedures.
