Job Vacancy: Filipi Travel Consultant
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Consultant to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the travel-related industry and possess excellent communication skills in both English and Filipino (Tagalog). This is an exciting opportunity to promote and sell holiday and travel products, handle inquiries, and contribute to the overall profitability and success of our company.
Responsibilities:
Promote and sell holiday and travel products, ensuring company profitability and achieving sales targets.
Handle inquiries regarding holiday packages from walk-in, corporate clients, and online channels.
Log inquiries and follow up until conclusion.
Convert inquiries into bookings to meet monthly and yearly sales targets for holiday packages.
Conduct tele-sales for holiday packages.
Maintain up-to-date product and brand knowledge, including in-depth knowledge of the company's brochures and destinations.
Promote special itineraries and corporate fares to maximize profits.
Participate in trade expos, exhibitions, brochure launches, or other promotional events organized by the tourism board.
Tailor-make and customize trip plans and itineraries for holiday packages based on clients' requirements.
Have knowledge of various holiday destinations worldwide.
Utilize negotiation and persuasion skills with clients and vendors.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Travel Consultant in the UAE.
Bachelor's degree with attested education certificates.
Proficiency in written and oral Russian and English.
IATA certificate.
Additional relevant supporting certificates related to leisure travel and auxiliary courses.
Computer literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office and other search engines.
Strong planning, organizing, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with GDS for flights booking and online hotel and rail booking systems for ground arrangements.
We also require the candidate to assist in content creation for social media platforms, specifically TikTok and Facebook. Therefore, having experience in creating engaging content for these platforms will be advantageous.
