Preferred: DoD or IFSAC Driver Operator-Pumper, Fire Inspector-I, Fire Officer-I, Hazmat Technician
Required: DoD or IFSAC or Pro Board certifications in: Firefighter I & Firefighter II, Haz-Mat Operations, Haz-Mat Awareness, (Driver Operator-Pumper-preferred), but not mandatory, Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must meet the medical and physical fitness requirements of the current NFPA 1582 & 1583 and be able to successfully complete a Firefighters Fitness Challenge.
Must pass an English competency level of at least a 9th grade from a certified institution. High school graduate or GED equivalent. Must obtain a Qatar Driver’s License (QDL) with Medium Vehicle endorsement to drive Fire Apparatus in the State of Qatar.
Must be no older than 45 years of age as per DoD1400.25, if re-entering the career field with the minimum requirements being met below and 3-4 years firefighting experience
