Job Title: Food Delivery Bike Rider
Job Summary:We are looking for dedicated and energetic Food Delivery Bike Riders to join our team. As a Bike Rider, you will be responsible for delivering food orders to customers efficiently and safely using a bike. Your role is crucial in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Delivery of Food Orders: Safely transport food orders from the restaurant or food establishment to customers' locations using a bike.
Customer Service: Greet customers upon delivery and maintain a friendly and professional demeanor. Address any customer inquiries or concerns politely and promptly.
Order Accuracy: Ensure that all delivered orders match the items ordered by the customer and verify special requests or instructions.
Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery Bike, including checking tire pressure, brakes, and overall condition. Report any issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Food Safety: Follow proper food safety and handling procedures to maintain the quality and integrity of the food being delivered.
Navigation: Use GPS or other navigation tools to determine the most efficient routes for delivery, ensuring timely arrivals at customers' locations.
Timeliness: Deliver orders within the specified time frames to ensure customer satisfaction.
Cash Handling (if applicable): Collect cash payments from customers, provide accurate change, and maintain a record of transactions.
Doentation: Keep accurate records of deliveries made, including addresses, delivery times, and any customer feedback. Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
Requirements:
A reliable bike if you have in good working condition .
Strong physical fitness and endurance for biking in various weather conditions.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
Familiarity with local roads and neighborhoods.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions (if applicable).
Preferred Qualities:
Previous experience in food delivery or a similar role.
Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations.
Friendly and approachable personality.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
