Accounting of all business transactions in time.
Supervising posting of purchase transactions
Supervising transactions at sales counters and daily closing of POS counters
Managing supplier payments
Managing all other payments like rent, utility bills, expenses etc
Reconciliation of supplier accounts, bank accounts and cash accounts
Preparing and disbursing salaries, leave salaries and other payments to employees
Preparing monthly reports for the management
Prepare tax returns and tax filing and maintain the tax records systematically
Ensure all accounting of transactions is done in a timely manner.
Pass month end journal entries
Manage systematic filing of accounting vouchers and other doents
Any other work that may be assigned by the shop manager
Should be willing to relocate to Al Suwaiq, The Sultanate of Oman
Minimum 3 years of work experience as an Accountant in the retail industry, preferably in large format stores.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
Experience in POS & ERP software
Advanced MS Excel skills.
