We are currently in search of a skilled and dependable General Maintenance Technician, encompassing roles such as plumbers, electricians, painters, masons, etc. This role involves undertaking a diverse range of maintenance and repair tasks at our clients' properties, ensuring the safety, comfort, and functionality of residential and commercial spaces. Key responsibilities include conducting inspections, addressing plumbing and electrical issues, HVAC maintenance, carpentry, and general repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections to identify maintenance and repair requirements.
Execute plumbing repairs and installations, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing fixtures.
Manage electrical tasks, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, wiring, and outlets.
Provide HVAC maintenance and repair services, encompassing cleaning, inspections, and minor repairs.
Undertake carpentry work, such as door and window repairs, cabinetry, and general woodworking.
Execute interior and exterior painting projects.
Address general repair and maintenance tasks, which may involve drywall repairs, flooring, and other building maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Ensure strict compliance with safety and quality standards.
Communicate effectively with clients to explain repairs and provide detailed cost estimates.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a General Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Physical fitness with the capability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
