We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Technician to join our cluster team!
In this dynamic cluster role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishments by taking care of the employee housing and overseeing general maintenance in our restaurants and kitchens.
Responsibilities:
1) Employee Housing Management:
* Coordinate and oversee the maintenance of employee housing facilities.
* Address and resolve housing-related concerns promptly.
* Ensure a clean, secure, and welcoming living environment for all staff members.
2) General Maintenance:
*Perform routine inspections of restaurants and kitchens to identify and address maintenance needs.
*Conduct preventive maintenance for FCU and FAHU in our facilities.
*Execute repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently to minimize downtime.
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
*Manage and track inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
*Respond to urgent maintenance issues and emergencies as they arise.
3) Team Collaboration:
*Collaborate with different departments to understand their specific maintenance requirements.
*Communicate effectively with staff and management to ensure a coordinated approach to facility management.
4) Compliance and Safety:
*Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations in all maintenance activities.
*Keep abreast of relevant regulations and standards, implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
*Minimum of 2 years of experience in general maintenance or a related field.
*Previous experience in hospitality maintenance is a plus.
*Proficient in basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
*Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
*Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
*Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and address maintenance issues effectively.
*UAE driving license is a plus.
