Design
•Develop design briefs by gathering pertinent information and data through research and ensure all activities are developed to time and in high quality
•As design trends change, learn what the trends are and adapt – whether that be software applications or design concepts
•Incorporate all forms of media and photography into the design concepts
•Contribute ideas to team meetings when discussing EEG and ACSRN corporate profiles and aspects that impacts reputation
•Use design creatively to engage with all stakeholders and be mindful of cultural nuances
•Maintain a list of EEG and ACSRN design fonts, colour templates, logos and other corporate identity materials
•Where necessary, provide digital or not-to-scale mock-ups
•Adaptation of English to Arabic and vice versa
•Update, change lay-out, re-design, upload content and maintain EEG website
•Be proficient in using various graphic design elements and tools.
General
•Meet Chairperson and other team members to discuss the business objectives and requirements of assigned tasks
•Develop a monthly, quarterly and annual work plan as per the annual planners of both EEG and ACSRN
•Estimate the time required to complete the work and prioritise accordingly
•Develop design briefs that suit the purpose
•Proofread work to produce accurate and high-quality output
•Demonstrate illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print
•Maintain creative brief doents
•Stay abreast of developing graphic design technologies in design, social media and publications.
Events
•Adhere to the parts responsible in the Action plan that is developed for each event by the relevant staff member and ensure proper implementation as per the time frames and set deadlines
•Oversee all design aspects of the events from A to Z
•Attend the E events and be a part of the set up team
•Attend the E events and ensure high quality photography and videography is taken at the events
•Review locations for Ga dinners and other programmes from a design, branding perspective
•Liaise with third party service providers, where necessary, to achieve optimum success in the design of the venue, stage, screen set, branding etc
•Pre event meetings with staff to ensure all design tasks are on schedule
•Have knowledge in and be part of budgeting of the event, costing-up the design and branding aspects
•Produce all event materials: banners, flags, on-site branding, pop-ups, publications, flyers, invitation cards, certificates, social media flyers, website hyperlinks and be responsible for their production A to Z, work to timelines.
-Prepare any material as per the instructions of the Chairperson, when the need arises and any other tasks assigned on an ad-hoc basis
