Job Description:
Aircraft Simulator Operator currently have an exciting new position for a Ground Instructor to join a reputable company in Sharjah, UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
• To provide initial ground training, in aeronautical knowledge areas required for the issuance of a type rating approval.
• To provide recurrent ground training in aeronautical knowledge areas, as required for recurrent training of pilots.
• To development various flight crew member training programs
• Complete appropriate flight crew member ground training records and other flight training documentation in a timely manner and directs to the appropriate filing source.
• Establish and maintain a highly effective training and learning environment.
• Instruction flight crew members in the classroom, cockpit procedures trainer and flight training devices for initial, recurrent and upgrade training.
• Maintain a working knowledge of applicable company read files, operating bulletins, manuals, regulatory guidance, and other training related material.
• Research, evaluate, and implement new or revised training systems, methods, policies, and procedures.
• Performs administrative duties such as record keeping, monitoring student progress, counseling, quality assurance, safety, security, and maintenance of training programs and equipment.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 year experience as A320 Ground Instructor.
• Excellent presentation ability.
• University degree.
• Knowledge of and the ability to teach aircraft systems, normal abnormal and emergency operating procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team oriented and self-directed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn new software and systems efficiently.
• Experience of working directly with regulators, Certification Bodies and other Standards organizations.
• Proficiency in English Language and presentation skills
