Grower (Farm, Agriculture, AgriTech, Soil less) Required. Our client is looking for a Grower who will be passionate about horticulture science and plants and will share the company's values around all teams conducting high quality. You will be an energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high standards and good judgment.
Acting in the capacity of Master Grower and working closely with the Horticultural and Growing Operations Team you will contribute to research projects involving plant growth. The Grower will be responsible for all daily plant production, seeding, germination processes, nutrient and seed inventories, insect and disease management, water and fertilizer management, so sampling and testing and automated system controls.
The Grower will make sure h team will always contribute to and comply with safety and quality rules of the Company, finish tasks in a timely manner, always be on top of communicated priorities, create a positive work environment. The Grower Assistant is also responsible for making sure that each one of the Grow Room team members are effectively and efficiently working, reporting and fixing issues in the towers and on the entire grow room floor.
You should have ideally have budget management / handling experience and exposure to Hydroponics, Farming Vegetables and Fruits and have exposure with Organic environments.
