Job Description

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced Chef specialized in French and Italian Cuisine and preparing a wide variety of goods specially cakes, cookies, pies, bread, Candy bars etc. following traditional and modern recipes Creating new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers Decorating pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.- knowledge in bakery, breakfast, pastry- SOPs and food cost- Create recipes and contemporary dessert Interested applicants kindly submit their most updated CVs Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process. Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts. Keen attention to detail. In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition. Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when necessary. Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.
Job Description:
• Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales
• Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
• Cook food in a timely manner
• Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
• Inform wait staff about daily specials
• Ensure appealing plate presentation
• Supervise Cooks and assist as needed
• Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)
• Monitor food stock and place orders
• Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
• Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area


Candidate Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook
• Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g. grillers and pasta makers)
• Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
• Leadership skills
• Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
• Excellent time management abilities
• Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
• Familiarity with sanitation regulations
• Must be Culinary school diploma Holder.
• 5 Years’ Experience is Required.
• Previous Job Recommendation is Required.
• Must also be able to speak English.
