• The Electrician is primary responsible for installing, trouble shooting, repairing, maintaining and upgrading electrical systems and equipment and identifying electrical faults a repa needs and to provide necessary workmanship in order to use the equipment, plan and machineries in a safe and efficient manner.
• To ensure that all maintenance work is performed safely, and in accordance with statutory and company regulations and good engineering practice.
• To liaise with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding maintenance / repairs and planning ahead so as to maximise operational time.
• Use preventative maintenance program in accordance with Company requirements and as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Complete Daily Operations Report, Preventive Maintenance Job Cards, Daily Handover Log accurately.
• Feedback information required for updating of any drawings, sketches or information on existing and replacement equipment.
• Ability to work at height alone or with a team whenever required.
• Offer technical assistance and electrical back-up as may be required for the safe operation of any equipment on the installation
• Install electrical systems for the purpose of providing updated, enhanced a upgraded electrical capabilities.
• Repair electrical systems including communications, overloads, lighting fixtures, etc. for the purpose of ensuring prop operation of equipment.
• Respond to emergency situations during and after work hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
• Perform other tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
• Take reasonable care for the health and safety of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.
• Cooperate with anything the employer does to comply with OHS requirements.
• Not 'intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided at the workplace for OHS.
• Comply with and work according to the HSE Requirements.
• Secondary school or vocational Course related to Industrial Electrician from recognized institute.
• Certificates –Preferred any work / HSE base training certificate.
• Safe handling of power tools
• Safe lifting and handling procedures
Total years of experience : 6 years in the same role
Precast Industry related experience : 3 years’ pre-cast concrete and civil construction
