About The Role: We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to fulfill a hybrid inventory and procurement role within our organization. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for working with the Production Manager to optimize the company’s logistics operations and fulfill a wide range of responsibilities. Ultimately, you will ensure that all inventory is adequately tracked and procured in a timely manner to guarantee an efficient production process.

Key Responsibilities:
•Oversea inventory and procurement processes.
•Receive goods and prepare goods receipt notes.
•Prepare goods return notes when required.
•Prepare goods issue notes.
•Examine stock for discrepancies and damages.
•Ensure organization of raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse.
•Maintain optimal stock levels.
•Prepare daily, weekly, monthly stock take reports.
•Prepare purchase requisitions.
•Liaise with Production Manager for order requirements.
•Negotiate vendor contracts in order to maximize profits.
•Obtain quotations from various vendors to ensure the best overall deal.
•Prepare purchase orders.
•Track orders and ensure timely delivery of all materials.
•Inspect materials upon receipt to ensure they meet quality standards.
•Maintain delivery records and invoices.
Qualifications:
•3+ years of progressive experience in inventory control.
•Strong industry specific experience with raw materials and suppliers.
•Ability to prepare accurate reports and maintain records.
•Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Confident problem-solving skills.
•Strong organizational skills.
•Ability to work under pressure when materials are late or incorrect.
•Attention to detail a must.
