Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Executive to manage our inventory levels and ensure that our stock levels are optimized to meet customer demand. The Inventory Executive will be responsible for tracking inventory levels, monitoring stock movement, and forecasting future inventory needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management and logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement inventory management procedures to ensure efficient and accurate tracking of inventory levels
Monitor stock levels and conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
Analyze sales trends and forecast future inventory needs to ensure that stock levels are optimized to meet customer demand
Work closely with the procurement team to ensure that inventory levels are aligned with production schedules and procurement plans
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer demand and adjust inventory levels as needed
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics personnel to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that inventory data is up-to-date and accurate
Prepare inventory reports and present findings to senior management
Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management or related field
At least 3 years of experience in inventory management or related field
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis andreporting
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software
Ability to work independently and within a team
Knowledge of inventory management best practices and principles
Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy boxes, up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures
