Generates IT (information technology) sales and business, develops relationships with new clients, makes sales visits and presentations, maintains advanced knowledge of products and services, and establishes and meets sales goals.
o Meeting with the IT Manager to discuss system needs.
o Designing and installing computer hardware configurations.
o Installing software and networking systems.
o Troubleshooting network and software issues.
o Installing high-level software security systems.
o Training staff on newly installed hardware and software systems.
o Fixing hardware, software, and networking issues.
o Responding to general IT requests.
o Ensuring security software is kept up to date.
o Filing monthly reports for the IT Manager.
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
o Extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems.
o Familiarity with general OS systems, Enterprise, programming languages, and Office software.
o Knowledge of LAN and wireless networks.
o Ability to project manage.
o Good communication skills.
o Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
o Knowledge of database and networking security systems.
