We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Import-Export Logistic Specialist to join our team at Robust Hoses LLC. As an Import-Export Logistic Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the transportation, customs clearance, and doentation processes for our import and export operations.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee the end-to-end logistics operations for import and export shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Arrange and monitor transportation, including booking shipments, selecting carriers, and managing freight forwarders.
Prepare and review all required shipping and customs doents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
Liaise with customs brokers, agents, and government authorities to ensure smooth customs clearance and adherence to impo regulations.
Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information flow regarding shipment status, delays, and any other related updates.
Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to stakeholders and resolving any logistics-related issues that may arise.
Optimize logistics processes and seek opportunities for cost-saving measures while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Stay updated on international trade regulations, impo compliance requirements, and industry trends.
Maintain accurate records, doentation, and reports related to impo logistics activities.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Import-Export Logistic Specialist or similar role, preferably in the [specific industry or sector].
Strong knowledge of impo regulations, customs procedures, and doentation requirements.
Proficiency in using logistics software, supply chain management systems, and MS Office applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with Incoterms, international shipping terms, and trade compliance.
Knowledge of trade agreements, tariffs, and duty calculations is a plus.
