Asset Description:
A private Company established for the management of Operations and Maintenance of three Power Plants within the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, producing Electrical energy and Steam with total of 900 MW net power capacity & 1480 net steam capacity. Each of the Plants are configured for two GE Gas Turbines & Generators, two single pressure HRSGs with supplementary firing, a HV Switchyard and necessary Auxiliary equipment.
Job Purpose:
Maintenance Planner Direct report to the Maintenance Team Leader of the assigned Location. · In support of the Maintenance Team Leader, Plan, enable and coordinate resources for the performance of corrective and preventative maintenance routines and Overhaul activities through the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
· Schedule inspection of portable and fixed lifting equipment.
· Maintain list of plant equipment’s (Special Tools, Tools, Testing and Measuring Instruments), Plan and Monitor the calibration, Maintenance schedule for Plant equipment’s
· Plan and Monitor the PAT testing schedule and Maintain the list of Portable appliances
· Management of COSHH Register and MSDS
· When nominated by a Responsible Officer, Perform role of ‘Technical Officer’ responsible for all aspects of safety, environmental, technical and commercial management of Contracts.
· When nominated perform the role of Process Safety Custodian for assigned indicators.
· During the Defects Liability Period, maintain Warranty Records in line with OMA obligations.
Core Competencies:
Problem solving and technical support to plant failures – liaising with Engineering and external bodies to implement best practice.
· Provide an effective technical service for the location in your area of expertise and support the production processes contributing to the achievement of station targets.
· Contribute to the development and implementation of Maintenance and Engineering policies to deliver high levels of commercial plant reliability and availability, together with exemplary safety and environmental performance.
· Working in accordance with statutory and mandatory requirements including Process Safety for the resolution of maintenance issues.
· Ensure compliance with the requirements of the appropriate procedures, regulations & method statements with respect to safety, Engineering, quality, production and standard of workmanship.
· Providing technical support to the operations team.
· Actively monitor Services Contractor’s activities, read Maintenance report and highlight any Variation from Contract.
· Maintain Plant Project Record Book and Document Management System
· coordination of resource for warranty items Close out as directed by warranty Manager and Support warranty team in Estimation of Warranty cost for open defects and warranty claims
