Asset Management Engineer should have strong technical knowledge on the asset management domains related to physical assets. Strong component of this role is to assure an accurate and systematically updated asset registry that provides support to asset replacement strategy and budgeting functions. Prolong the asset life time through the proper management of the asset over the life cycle is a key outcome of this job. That is achieved through recurrent close control of the assets performance, required corrective actions and condition assessments. Should be client and performance oriented.
Scope of Work
• Ensure KAUST Asset Management policies and procedures
• Ensure Asset Management best practices as per ISO 55001 system
• Ensure an accurate and updated asset registry in the EAM System (SAP-PM / MAXIMO)
• Ensure external assets are mapped in Geographical Information System
• Ensure asset disposal of non-conforming assets
• Ensure new assets are acquired according to KAUST procedures, capitalized on-time (if applicable) and ensuring their registration in the EAM System (SAP-PM / MAXIMO)
• Coordinate and ensure completion and verification of asset related reports
• Liaise with Finance on Asset management related activities such as disposals, capitalizations, inventories, impairments and others.
• Any other jobs assigned to you by the Management from time to time.

• IBM EAM-MAXIMO
• Proficiency in Physical Asset Management best practices and international standards
• Proficiency in Reporting
• Proficiency in Windows MS applications
• Organize Presentations
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Systems, Industrial) Engineering.
Experience
• 3-5 years of experience in the relevant field preferably in a large organization.
Additional Requirement
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural, bilingual environment.
