Fly High Operations is pleased to announce the launch of Tethered Helium Balloon adventure rides in the United Arab Emirates. We aim to onboard resources as part of the initial ramp-up team.
Fly High Balloon Operations is in the launch stage of its ride at various locations, the incumbent (Manager- Operations) will be responsible for setting up operations at one site & would ultimately be responsible for running the operations smoothly.
Manager Operations Responsibilities:
Pre-Launch Phase
• Work under the mentorship of the Country Manager
• Coordinate with the members of the location owner’s staff to ensure that the site goes live on committed dates
• Be a Single Point of Contact during the project execution phase. The stakeholder during this phase would include (& not limited to) the Site owner’s team, BB’s Management Team, the Country Manager, BB’s Service Partners, Regulatory
Agencies, Consultants, Contractors & various vendors are engaged in the execution phase.
• Work closely with the appointed consultant & contractor’s team to execute layout design work at the site level
• Maintain close connections with all the vendors’ working at the site level & address their ongoing concerns to
prevent any execution delays.
• Coordinate with all the regulatory authorities during the execution phase to ensure that the committed timelines are
achieved.
. Resource Planning
Post Launch Phase
• Work under the mentorship of the Country Manager & consistently feeds him with inputs pertaining to Sales,
the performance of individual rides, etc. Work with him to increase guest footfall & revenue of the site
• Responsible for planning & building the operation team before the launch phase
• Be responsible for the Site’s top line; Site Revenue & Customer Satisfaction Scores being key result areas for this role
• Responsible for inculcating a customer-first attitude within its span
• Supervises, coordinates & periodically inspects activities of workers engaged in operating rides
• Daily roaster is a key activity of this role
• Inspects ride equipment for operating condition and safety on daily basis. Takes requisite action on a need basis.
• Responsible for ensuring that operations at the site are executed strictly according to the operating manual with zero deviations.
• Be the first level of escalation for all customer service issues at the site level
• Responsible for ensuring FH’s values such as Safety, Security & Service Standards are adhered to at all times without fail.
• Managing emergency situations.
• Keep a track of Employees' performance, productivity, and appraisals. Take requisite actions on a need basis
• Responsible for mentoring & training all new hires.
Experience Requirements:
• Prior 5-7 years of experience in a customer-facing environment in any theme park, amusement ride, or adventure sports• Management Graduate or Commerce graduate
• Male or Female; Any Nationality
• Fluency in English & Arabic is preferable
• Ability to work in harsh working environment; (Outdoors)
• Natural leadership abilities; Decisive & ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Pleasing & Welcoming personality.
• Computer literate
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work a flexible schedule during business hours, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable engaging with large groups of people
• Preferably having a UAE driving license
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols for the amusement industry
• Excellent time management, problem-solving & multi-tasking attitude
