Job Responsibilities:
• Efficient and Smooth operation of the Yacht
• Responsible for diagnosing and carrying out repairs and service to outboard and inboard engines especially MTU brand
• Service and repair of Marine generator
• Troubleshoot engine, electrical problems replace shaft, cutlass bearing and propellers
• Able to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in the yachts
• Determines the yacht / boat condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts
• Corrects vessel deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making... adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units
• Carry out inspection of vessel to assess whether they are seaworthy and whether any machinery onboard is safe for usage
• Complies vessel requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards
To ensure smooth and safe operation of yacht through proper diagnosis and carry out repairs and services to outboard and inboard engines and generator services, especially of MTU, MAN, CAT, YANMAR, VOLVO PENTA and verify vessel performance by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
