Receive, label and record all types of patient specimens.
Conduct tests, analyze the specimen and document the results.
Ensure the established protocol is always followed.
Calculate results and record all test results in system.
Notify the treating Doctor for any critical test values.
Maintain accurate documentation and records.
Orders supplies to maintain the optimum level of consumables.
Operate equipment carefully while complying with established protocols.
Implement infection control and safety standards.
Respond to queries of patients with courtesy, accuracy, while maintaining high level of confidentiality.
Coordinate with other departments, Doctors, Para Medical Staff as appropriate, to ensure the best patient care is delivered.
Adheres to Ministry of Health rules and regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned by the higher authorities.
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
Valid License from Ministry of Health in Kuwait to practice as Medical Laboratory Technologist
Minimum 3 years in Laboratory of a Hospital or Clinic.
Experience in proficiently handling high-end laboratory equipment.
Good analytical skills, judgement skills & ability to handle work pressure.
Should be a good team player with excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
