REQUIRED MEP ENGINEER
Designation: MEP Engineer (Consultant Background).
Experience : 5 to 6 years
License : Light Vehicle
Software : Auto-CAD, Carrier HAP Heat Loading Calculation.
(Well versed with building codes and standards in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing (Drainage and Water Supply), and Civil Defense drawings. (ASHRAE, SMACNA, IPC, NFPA, NEC Codes)
Electrical Load Calculation and Selection of Wires and Cables, MCCB and Circuit Breakers,
Lighting and Power systems
Job DescriptionAnalyzing project requirements and reviewing all the project in conceptual layout stage
mapping requirements of MEP resources ensuring value engineering all.Preparation of whole set MEP drawings to submit for approvals in local government irrespective of any authorities as per rules and regulations.Documentation, follow-up and obtaining approval from government authorities and
meeting all technical compliance with local regulations and law.Managing the professional on project (AUTOCAD Draftsman and other support staff) and
ensuring work produced is to the required quality, produced on time.Supervision of site and inspecting works to ensure they meet specifications, drawings &
standards.Oversight and approvals of shop drawings prepared by contractor / subcontractor are in-line
with project specifications and requirements.ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with approved drawings and documents, in
parallel with regulations and international standards.Detailed reviewing of the project specifications, subcontractors’ technical queries RFI
“Request for Information” reply, technical meetings, progress monitoring, material
submittals review comments and approvals as per vendor list or equivalent.Coordinate between architectural – structural and electromechanical drawings. Recommend
modifications for design improvements and simplification.Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ), project specifications, design review report and all other
relevant documents for tender proposals.Attending technical meetings, co-ordination and progress meetings required with client, contractor and subcontractors.Project planning, execution of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Services and Coordination
with other departments to deliver better quality in work.Providing technical support to the management and contractors on project engineering,Frequently Site Supervision
