•Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience in metallic material testing such as Mechanical testing, Metallurgical testing and corrosion testing which includes HIC, SSCC, IGC, Pitting corrosion.
•Ability to carry out failure analysis investigation and prepare final report individually.
•Knowledge of metallurgical testing procedures.
•Knowledge of metallurgical sample preparations and examinations.
•Knowledge of use and routine maintenance of instruments and equipment.
•Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
•Ability to select, prepare, and examine metallurgical samples.
•Ability to use, operate, and maintain necessary tools, equipment, and instruments.
•Ability to calibrate and adjust to proper settings the various tools and instruments.
•Ability to evaluate situations and make decisions.
•Ability to communicate effectively.
•Ability to provide basic instructions to others on the use of various tools, equipment and instructions.
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
