Responsibilities:
1. Paint fingernails and toenails, clean, cut and shape nails
2. Recommend colors, rhinestones and designs based on each customer’s style
3. Remove previously applied polish
4. Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments, sterilize equipment before use
5. Inform clients about additional services and offers (e.g. loyalty discounts, eyebrow waxing)
6. Give hand and foot massages
7. Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures last longer)
8. Up sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate
9. Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences)
10. Participate and support employee activities initiated by the management
Competencies & Requirements:
1. Trustworthy, honest & team player
2. Can communicate in English well
3. Proven work experience as a Nail Technician, Manicurist or a similar role
4. Expertise in basic and advanced nail techniques, including french manicures, airbrushing and gel manicures
5. Knowledge of cosmetology trends
6. Understanding and compliance of sanitation and sterilization standards
7. Excellent in customer service
