Job Description:
As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining various types of data into computer systems and databases. Your primary duty will be to ensure that information is entered efficiently and with precision, following established guidelines and procedures. You will work closely with other team members to meet deadlines and ensure data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Inputting data from paper doents, electronic files, or other sources into computer databases or spreadsheets.
2.Verifying accuracy of data by comparing it to source doents and performing quality checks.
3.Organizing and sorting data according to predefined formats and criteria.
4.Updating existing records with new information as needed.
5.Reviewing and detecting errors in data entry, correcting discrepancies, and reporting issues to supervisors.
6.Maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
7.Assisting in the development and implementation of data entry procedures and best practices.
8.Collaborating with team members to complete projects and meet deadlines.
9.Responding to inquiries and requests for information in a timely and professional manner.
10.Performing other administrative tasks as assigned.


Candidate Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:
1.High school diploma or equivalent.
2.Good typing speed and accuracy.
3.Proficiency in using computers and data entry software.
4.Good organizational and time management skills.
5.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7.Familiarity with basic office equipment such as scanners, printers, and copiers.
8.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
