The ideal candidate for this position must have over four years of experience in developing distributed, scalable enterprise-class applications using a range of technologies, such as ASP.Net, Microsoft .NET framework, C#, VB.Net, MVC, WCF, AJAX, HTML5, and Bootstrap. Candidates should also be skilled in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and customizing.NET applications.
The job involves conceptualizing, designing, developing, and testing custom software applications using various technologies, such as ASP.NET, .NET, C#, SQL Server, and web technologies. Candidates must have experience configuring and troubleshooting IIS and working with IIS authentication schemes, Visual Studio (2008/2012/2017 or higher), and TFS.
Additionally, the candidate must be able to develop, enhance, and resolve issues in existing business applications developed in .Net and Oracle Forms 6i. They should have hands-on experience with modern web technologies (MVC, Web API, jQuery, etc.) and must be able to analyze business requests for change, code and test new functionality, create technical design doents, unit test and implementation plans, and code and test new functionality for small to medium processes a functions.
Candidates should also have experience working with web services (SOAP, REST), WCF, XML, JSON, and XSLT. Oracle SQL and experience is a must. Experience in developing reports using Oracle Reports 1 or any freeware reporting tools on bilingual support is also necessary. Experience using and maintaining code version and source code management is required.
Furthermore, the candidate should be able to interact with end-users, business leads, and management to gather business requirements. They should also have experience fixing security vulnerabilities in coding and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
