•Travel to customer job sites to troubleshoot and maintain industrial equipment, specifically piston and rotary screw air compressors, various types of air dryers and other air system components
•Perform diagnostics and determine causes for malfunctions on defective compressor systems.
•Provide failure analysis and equipme recommendations to improve reliability a performance.
•Consult with and advise customers on compressed air equipment needs, maintenance, and repairs
•Technical assistance on equipment start-ups and installations
•Read and comprehend operational manuals, electrical schematics, and parts breakdowns.
•Doent service and installation activities by completing work orders for each job.
•Maintaining service vehicles with proper equipment, tools, and parts to promote efficient, factory-approved methods for servicing equipment.
•Other assignments may be given at the discretion of the management.
•2+ years of service work related to industrial equipment (compressed air, HVAC, vacuum etc...)
•Working knowledge of compressed air systems, overhauling and associated components
•Knowledge of electrical diagrams and mechanical flow diagrams
•Experience with three phase electrical and plumbing systems (copper, aluminum) is a plus.
•Strong mechanical aptitude for industrial equipment
•Able to read wiring schematics and diagrams for all equipment.
•Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
•Advantage having Valid driver’s license and clean record.
•A positive attitude and a dedication to learning – must be able to work independently and as part of a team
•The job requires frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs
